Imagining a Collection

Everything starts with a desire, a vibration, an emotion,...to lose oneself a little, to forget oneself and to let oneself be carried by this little music...a sound calls for a colour, a perfume for a nuance, a look for a volume,...a taste for a density...everything is linked, everything is there and yet what a whirlwind! To become the conductor of all these sensations in order to tame them, to link them and unlink them so as to always surprise oneself. It is always with a certain delight that one dives into this unknown which makes us pencil with a single gesture...

STEP 1 : Materials research : Salon international du tissus Première Vision
Forget everything, unplug the connectors from above and let instinct act...don't think, just feel, palpitate and let yourself be guided by your hand, your eyes...your heart

STEP 2: Creation of the colour scheme
This is often based on a painting, a photo, a record sleeve, etc. It will serve as the backbone of the project.

STEP 3: Selection of materials
All the fabric robots are together, you have to listen to them, let them talk to each other, associate with each other,... Only they know.

STEP 4: Inspiration or the art of mixing all these scattered elements into preliminary drawings, of retranscribing these desires into sketches, of making the colours clash, of tangling the volumes, and of letting the perfume of emotions settle in... which will be found on the Mood Board...
These inspiration boards will be the red thread of the line, sometimes embellished with words, with dedicated sonorities. They will be the prism for all future desires...

STEP 5: Creation of the Labdip
Samples of the selected fabrics that we will dye in the colours of the range...the result is not always convincing, sometimes the materials are magnificent in certain tones but not in others...magic of the Créa!

STEP 5 : Research of the first volumes in fabrics, and migration of ideas : sleeves which become skirt, Pockets which are reborn in the form of collar, cuff which mutates, and fabric which one does not reason...

STEP 6 : A little bit of seriousness
Fabrics, Mok'up of details, finishes, ...the precision arrives

STEP 7 : First protos....
Fittings on a mannequin cabin,
Corrections...
Validation Final prototype

First shooting...and the latent impression of not having said everything and wanting to continue, ....
